School Year 2021-2022

RESPECT FOR ALL WEEK!

“Give One Take One” Walls

Students and teachers discussed different ways to show respect. Each floor used heart post-its to fill a large heart with words of kindness/positive affirmations/quotes. On days when you feel you can use a little positivity, take a post-it. Feel free to leave kind messages at anytime!

Back The Blue in Support of the NYPD

In honor and support of the NYPD, all staff and students were encouraged to wear BLUE or anything that supports the NYPD. As a school, we paused for a moment of silence to honor, remember, and mourn Police Officers, Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora.

Take a look at our "Community and Culture" school mural! Thrive Collaborative and their team of teaching artists worked with students to design and transform our entryway into a welcoming and inclusive space for the whole school community to enjoy and appreciate!

Thank you to Council member Justin Brannan for your generous funding that made this mural possible for our school!
